Why TechnoSpace

Big-firm capability.
Boutique accountability.

The large firms send a partner to win the work — then hand delivery to a bench of juniors. TechnoSpace inverts that. A senior practitioner owns your outcome from day one, and scales delivery through a vetted offshore team that's ready in days, not months. You get the seniority, the speed and the economics that traditional consultancies simply can't match.

01
One senior ownerThe person who scopes your work is the person accountable for it. No hand-offs, no juniors learning on your budget.
02
A full team, on demandOffshore delivery capability mobilised in days — deploy specialized delivery pods for a build, scale down when it's done.
03
Priced on outcomesAn efficient delivery model is what lets us guarantee results instead of billing hours.

The traditional big-firm model

  • Partners win the work; juniors deliver it
  • Priced by the hour and the headcount
  • Months to mobilise a team
  • Decks and deliverables
  • You're one account among thousands

The TechnoSpace model

  • A senior principal owns your outcome, start to finish
  • Priced on the value created — fixed, and clear up front
  • A vetted onshore-offshore pod live in days
  • Outcomes you can act on
  • You're the client that matters
(01) — Our point of view

Your data isn't the problem.
It just isn't decision-grade yet.

Most organisations are drowning in dashboards and starving for decisions. Raw data, scattered tools and one-off reports don't move a boardroom. Our entire job is to close that gap — to make data decision-grade: trusted, governed, and ready to act on. And we run one repeatable method to get there.

STAGE 01
Ground
Engineering & Governance

Engineer one governed, quality-assured source of truth — catalogued, lineage-tracked and trusted — so every decision starts from the same reliable foundation.

STAGE 02
Surface
Data & Analytics

Turn that foundation into board-ready insight — the answers leaders actually ask for, not another dashboard.

STAGE 03
Act
Agentic AI

Put AI agents to work on top — automating the analysis, reporting and action that used to need headcount.

GROUND → SURFACE → ACT · THE DECISION-GRADE DATA™ MODEL

(02) — Capabilities

Four capabilities.
One accountable partner.

From the platform underneath to the AI on top, we deliver the full stack — or step in exactly where you need us.

STRATEGY

AI Strategy & Transformation

Safe enterprise AI adoption.

Drive tangible business outcomes through governed, scalable AI. We focus on strategic roadmaps, use-case identification, and safe enterprise adoption rather than just building custom agents.

Outcome: capacity, speed, and competitive advantage without adding headcount.
(03) — Delivery model

Onshore accountability.
Offshore scale.
Teams in days.

Every engagement is led and owned by a Principal Advisor — your single point of accountability, answerable for quality and outcome. Behind that sits a vetted offshore delivery capability we mobilise in days, not the months it takes to hire — and when your project demands on-site presence or domain-specific expertise, we bring in local specialist contractors alongside the pod. You get the judgment of a trusted advisor, the throughput of a full team, and an economic model efficient enough to price on value.

Days

Ready when you are

Pre-vetted delivery pods mean no hiring lead time. We deploy specialized delivery pods for the build and down when it's done — you never carry a bench. Time-zone spread means follow-the-sun delivery: progress overnight, every night, wherever you are.

One

Single line of accountability

A Principal Advisor owns the outcome end to end. You manage one relationship — never the offshore team, never the moving parts.

Value

Built for outcome pricing

Blended onshore-offshore delivery is what lets us commit to results and a fixed investment, instead of timesheets and uncertainty.

(04) — How we price

We price outcomes, not hours.

Hourly rates reward slow work and cap your value. We don't sell time. We agree the result you need, the value it creates, and a fixed investment to get there — offered as a choice of options, so you decide the level of ambition. No timesheets. No surprises. No incentive to take longer.

We work with $50M–$1B+ enterprises in health, finance, manufacturing and government — based in New Zealand, delivering worldwide.

National Clinical Systems Modernization & Multi-Hospital PAS Migration

Context

Directed the critical data migration, architectural mapping, and business intelligence delivery stream for the landmark Tū Pono Āroha initiative. This massive digital transformation successfully decommissioned three fragmented, 30-year-old legacy patient administration systems across Auckland Hospital, Starship Children’s Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre, and regional outpatient networks. Led a specialized squad of technical analysts to execute complex source-to-target data profiling, extracting and normalizing three decades of clinical business logic into a modern InterSystems TrakCare architecture and a scalable Databricks Data Warehouse solution. Personally architected the implementation of the enterprise data catalog to map metadata lineage, designed programmatic data reconciliation frameworks for rigorous testing validation, and served as the primary advisory interface aligning data requirements between internal clinical teams, engineering squads, and the Ministry of Health.

Impact

Transformed historically isolated, high-risk legacy infrastructures into a singular, high-performance, and entirely audited clinical data ecosystem—eliminating data debt, securing institutional continuity, and providing executive leadership with bulletproof, governed visibility for national healthcare reporting.

Data Engineering Leadership & Enterprise Governance at Scale

Context

Served as Data Engineering Tech Lead for one of Australasia’s largest insurers — directing the data engineering team and providing solution architecture and strategic guidance across enterprise data initiatives, in alignment with business priorities and the long-term data strategy. Designed and implemented scalable data solutions across an AWS Redshift, Netezza, IBM Infosphere, SAS and Tableau estate, while driving enterprise data governance initiatives to enforce data quality standards under the corporate Data Governance Framework. Partnered with Tribe Leaders, Product Owners and senior management to shape solutions, influence decision-making and clear strategic blockers; facilitated business workshops translating complex needs into actionable technical designs; and built high-performing capability by onboarding and mentoring engineers, including external partner channels for specialist data engineering talent.

Impact

Elevated data engineering from a delivery team into a governed enterprise capability — embedding best-practice standards in solution design, tooling and governance across every project, and enabling agile delivery of high-quality data products that met both business and compliance requirements for high-stakes regulatory and financial reporting.

Enterprise Data Engineering, AI Agents & Quality Governance

Context

Initially engaged to define the future-state data quality framework, this role rapidly expanded into full-lifecycle data engineering and AI implementation. Partnered with enterprise Data & AI leadership to architect and build robust ingestion pipelines, translating complex business requirements into scalable data patterns. Drove the technical rollout of a Microsoft Purview–backed data quality solution, utilizing Databricks, Power BI, and Databricks Genie to establish a highly automated, self-service data catalog and AI-enhanced governance model.

Impact

Mitigated operational risk by engineering automated data quality frameworks directly into the ingestion pipelines, creating a secure, compliant baseline for enterprise machine learning — and transitioned the organization from passive governance to active, AI-driven quality management.

(06) — Our story

Seventeen years, three countries,
one belief about data.

It started with enterprise SAP consulting — architecting complex data and analytics solutions for global brands like Holcim and Britannia, driven by a fascination with the gap between the data a company holds and the decisions it actually makes.

That technical foundation scaled globally: eight years transforming data operations for the world's 5th largest premium aluminium producer in the UAE, leading enterprise-wide analytics implementations from the ground up.

Recruited to New Zealand to deliver data strategy for household names like Zespri, Southern Cross, and SkyCity, the scope expanded further — architecting national data platforms and leading engineering for the Ministry of Justice, Datacom, and Suncorp.

After 17 years inside massive enterprises, one pattern kept repeating: organisations spending fortunes on data, yet still unable to make a confident decision. TechnoSpace was founded to be the deliberate fix: senior expertise, zero bloat, and a ruthless focus on outcomes.
